All classes are free and held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Rockdale County Public Schools Central Office, 960 Pine Street NE Conyers, GA 30012. Open to the public and adults who work with youth.

* RCPS staff who have never taken the course or are due for renewal of certification may be eligible for a $240 stipend. The class must be taken during normal off contract/non-working hours to be eligible.

WHY YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID?
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18. 10.2% of youth will be diagnosed with a substance use disorder in their lifetime.
