RCPS School Nutrition wins USDA Turnip the Beet Gold Award

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service’s Turnip the Beet Award recognizes outstanding Summer Meal Program sponsors—including the Seamless Summer Option and the Summer Food Service Program—that are in good standing and serve high-quality, appealing meals during the summer months.

We are thrilled to announce that the Rockdale County Public Schools School Nutrition Department has been awarded the Gold Turnip the Beet Award for Summer 2024!

This prestigious recognition highlights our commitment to providing nutritious, delicious meals for students even when school is out. Congratulations to our dedicated nutrition team for their hard work and excellence!
