Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) operates one of the safest and most efficient fleets in Georgia to provide daily transportation for students to and from school-related activities. Transportation is provided for all students within the attendance zone in which they live and students are required to walk no further than three-tenths of a mile to reach a bus stop.

BUS FLEET
Our fleet of buses is inspected annually (prior to the opening of school) and monthly by the Georgia Department of Public Safety. The recent annual inspection was completed with an excellent record, a tribute to the outstanding work ethics of the fleet staff and their complete maintenance schedule.
Please note that RCPS authorizes the use of video cameras on school buses and on district property to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of all persons and to safeguard district equipment, facilities, and property.
