Qué: Clases gratuitas de inglés para adultos.
Quién: Adultos con hijos en las Escuelas Públicas del Condado de Rockdale.
Cómo me inscribo: El martes 14 de octubre de 2025, de 6:00 a 7:15 PM o el jueves 16 de octubre de 2025, de 6:00 a 7:15 PM, acuda a la Oficina Central de RCPS, 960 Pine Street, Conyers, GA para registrarse en las clases de inglés para adultos.
Cuándo es la clase: Del 21 de octubre de 2025 al 31 de marzo de 2026, martes y jueves, de 6:00 PM a 7:15 PM. Las clases son presenciales (dos veces al mes) y en línea a través de Microsoft Teams.

How do I sign up: On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, 6:00 – 7:15 PM or Thursday, October 16, 2025, 6:00 – 7:15 PM come to the RCPS Central Office, 960 Pine Street, Conyers, GA to register for the adult English classes.
When is the Class: October 21, 2025 to March 31, 2026, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM. Classes are In Person (twice a month) & Online via Microsoft Teams.

Program Overview
The Rockdale County ESOL program provides support for English language acquisition and development of skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing through content-based instruction. The ESOL teachers work in collaboration with classroom and other teachers to support language acquisition of academic and social skills. The ESOL program encourages the student's positive recognition and value of their culture and the diverse culture of others. The ESOL teachers work in collaboration with families to ensure students and families receive the support they need to be successful in their learning environment.
Mission
The mission of the ESOL program is to provide a wide-ranging population of non-native speakers of English a variety of courses, activities, and events, which can help them eliminate linguistic barriers.
Vision
The vision of the ESOL program is to be a learning community where all English Learners reach English proficiency and graduate college or career ready in an interconnected society.
We achieve this mission and vision through:
• ESOL Coaches at the Kindergarten, Elementary, and Secondary levels who are experienced and support student's academic success and well-being.
• Individualized schedule planning for English Learners.
• A wide range of high school courses to teach and support academic and language objectives.
• Integration of the WIDA English Language Development (ELD) Standards with the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
• Consistent demonstration of the 6 Principles of Exemplary Instruction for English Learners.
• Expanded community engagement.
