Pre-K Lottery Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will be open February 1-28, 2026. Parents will be notified March 9, 2026, of their selection. Please check back later for more details.

Where to register: Families will complete registration with an Early Learning specialist. Appointments will be scheduled after selection is finalized.
Needed documents to complete enrollment:
- Child’s birth certificate, showing parent’s name
- Social Security Card
- Form 3231 (Certificate of Immunization)*
- Form 3300 (Eye / Ear / Dental/Nutrition Certificate)*
- Photo ID for parent
- Proof of custody or guardianship if person enrolling child is not the birth parent
- Proof of Residence (click here, choose one combination)
*Please note: Students will not be eligible for the Early Learning Center selection until all required documents have been received. Please email Sara Santoyo at ssantoyo@rockdale.k12.ga.us for additional information or assistance.

About the Early Learning Center
The Rockdale Career Academy Early Learning Center (ELC) is a NAEYC accredited, Reggio-Emilia inspired preschool operated by the Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) and serves as the "hub" for Rockdale Early Learning Initiatives. The ELC serves 3 and 4-year-old children who meet enrollment requirements for RCPS. The ELC also serves as a lab school for the Early Childhood Education Department Career and Technical Education program at RCA. The ELC curriculum goal is to ensure that all children have the skills necessary to be successful in RCPS kindergarten classrooms.
La Academia de Carrera del Rockdale del Centro de Aprendizaje Temprano (ELC) es un NAEYC acreditado, Reggio-Emilia inspirado de preescolar operado por las Escuelas Públicas del Condado de Rockdale (RCPS) y sirve como el "centro" para Iniciativas de Aprendizaje Temprano. El ELC sirve a los niños 3 y 4 años de edad, los niños que cumplen con los requisitos de inscripción para el condado RCPS. El ELC también sirve como escuela laboratorio para el programa del Departamento de Educación de la Primera Infancia y Educación Profesional y Técnica en la RCA. Who is eligible to apply? Students who will turn three or four by September 1st.
Parents will use the link above to register for preK and preschool lottery selection. Parents should not complete further registration until after lottery selection. Important information about student registration after selection: If a student is not selected, they are placed on a waiting list and parents are notified as positions become available. All children must meet RCPS student registration requirements (immunizations, proof of residency, etc.) and complete RCPS Online Student Registration with an Early Learning Specialist if their child is selected for attendance. ELC Parents, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to check out an iPad to our students to be used at home during Virtual Learning. It will be necessary to complete an Acceptable Use Policy and iPad Check Out Form in our Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account. If you have not created an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, please click here for directions.
Once you have the Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account created, log in then click "More" in the left column and "Annual Student Updates" to complete the necessary forms.
