Youth Mental Health First Aid

 

The RCPS Department of Community and Student Support is excited to offer five Youth Mental Health First Aid classes this summer!

WHAT:  Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18.

WHEN:   June 10, June 11, June 12, June 17, and June 18, 2025,
7:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

WHERE:   Rockdale County High School Media Center, 1174 Bulldog Circle, Conyers, GA.

STIPEND:   RCPS employees will receive a $240 stipend if:
The RCPS employee has never taken a Youth Mental Health First Aid class OR the RCPS employee has not taken a Youth Mental Health First Aid class in 3 years.
AND
The employee is not scheduled to work the day of the class.

WHO: Adults who work with youth; classes open to the public and RCPS employees.
