Who: Parents, Tweens & Teens
Description: Parent Academy is a free conference and learning opportunity for RCPS parents and families. The day opens with the Superintendent's Roundtable for parents and attendees with leadership from across the district.  Free classes and workshops afterward include a variety of topics such as helping my child with classes, wellness, technology, community resources, and much more. We will also offer a class for Spanish-speaking parents, classes for parents of students with disabilities (Exceptional Children), as well as classes for Tweens & Teens. Free childcare will be provided for children ages 3 to 10 years only; must preregister. There will be vendors that will offering products, helpful information, and free haircuts and manicures and pedicures are available. Lunch is provided at no cost and Parent Academy participants have the chance to win door prizes!
