Precautions and Protocols

•   Facilities are thoroughly and regularly cleaned following CDC guidelines, with particular attention to high-touch surfaces.

•    Visitors to schools and offices must have an appointment. Please call the front desk of your school or department to make an appointment.

•    Employees and visitors are required to do a self-screening and answer the following questions before entering a RCPS facility:

1. Have you traveled internationally or outside of Georgia in the last 14 days?
2. Have you had close contact with someone with a diagnosis of COVID-19 or symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
3. Have you had a fever, chills & sweats, felt “feverish,” or had a temperature of 100.4 degrees F or greater in the last 24 hours?
4. Do you have any of these symptoms: Cough, Body Aches, Chills, Shortness of Breath, Nasal Congestion/Runny Nose, Loss of Taste/Smell, Sore Throat, Diarrhea, Vomiting.

If they answered "yes" to any of these questions, the employee is asked to contact RCPS Human Resources at 770-483-4713 and visitors are asked to reschedule their appointment.
If they answered "no" to all of these questions, the employee or visitor may enter.  

•   Frequent hand washing with soap and water for more than 20 seconds at a time is strongly encouraged.
