Update (8/1/20): Message from the Superintendent - No Middle School Sports for Fall 2020

As you know, this is a very challenging time as we continue to contend with COVID-19 and all its related challenges. One such challenge is fall sports. After careful collaboration and deliberation, I decided that we would not proceed with middle school fall sports for this upcoming season. Our focus will be on ensuring optimal digital learning experiences for our middle school students during fall semester as we monitor the public health pandemic. Como saben, este es un momento muy desafiante ya que continuamos luchando con COVID-19 y todos sus desafíos relacionados. Uno de esos desafíos son los deportes de otoño. Después de una cuidadosa colaboración y deliberación, decidí que no continuaríamos con los deportes de otoño de la escuela intermedia para esta próxima temporada. Nos enfocaremos en garantizar experiencias óptimas de aprendizaje digital para nuestros estudiantes de secundaria durante el semestre de otoño mientras monitoreamos la pandemia de salud pública. Update (June 1): RCPS Athletics to restart July 6

Update (March 12, 2020): Athletic events suspended starting March 16

In accordance with recommendations from the Georgia High School Association (GHSA), all RCPS athletic events will be canceled starting Monday, March 16, 2020 until further notice.
