Partners in Education

The Partners-in-Education is a mutually supportive arrangement between a business/organization and a school. The primary goal is to strengthen and enrich instructional programs in the school to enhance the educational experiences of students. The partners agree to specific goals and activities for the benefit of students. The most valuable contribution a business/organization can make is providing employees to be involved in the schools. All projects and activities must support the program's objectives and the development of all children. There are basically three variations of partnerships in operation in the Rockdale County Public Schools:

  • School-Business Partners | where a school and a business or organization develop and implement a comprehensive plan of action within one school
  • Partners-at-Large | where a business or organization works with a specific program, curriculum, or group across several schools
  • Special Events Partners | where a business or organization contributes to or sponsors a specific project or event.
