Are you ready to thrive in 2025? Come to Parent Academy and launch into the spring season with free workshops and inspiring performances. Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) celebrates the return of Parent Academy for its 23rd semester on Saturday, March 15, 2025, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Rockdale Career Academy. This free, half-day event for parents, tweens and teens offers free classes and resources to help families find success. To register, please visit

This year’s theme is “Thrive in 2025!” with classes and workshops focusing on physical, financial, mental, wellness as well as literacy.
This half-day event features classes and workshops, student performances, and local community vendors as well as student entrepreneurs. Attendees attend two breakout sessions and can choose from dozens of classes. There are also classes available for Spanish-speaking parents and for parents of students with disabilities.
Lunch is provided at no cost. Childcare for children ages 3-10 is available for those who pre-register. The event includes free door prizes, a vendor marketplace, and many community resources.
